UltiMAK-- Simplicity of Operation
He's looking straight at the target. This sighting method is hard for the uninitiated to understand at first. You're not looking at a sight, and you're not looking with one eye at a reticle. You're just looking at the target, and there's the aiming reticle floating in your natural field of view. On your AK, the technique works best with an UltiMAK AK optic mount.

Photo by Oleg Volk. A tilt-shift lens was used to keep more of the subject in focus.
Can you identify that AK? Closed round sight hood, smooth receiver cover, sling loop on the barrel at the gas block. It must be Chinese.
